If your inquiry, conversation, or enrollment involves Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, Medicare Supplement, or other Medicare-related products, the following disclaimers apply:
We do not offer every plan available in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options.
Veterans Benefits is not affiliated with, endorsed by, connected to, or authorized by the U.S. Government, the federal Medicare program, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Social Security Administration, the Health Insurance Marketplace, or any state government agency. This is a solicitation for insurance. A licensed agent may contact you.
Individual licensed agents are appointed and authorized to sell insurance products only in the states in which they personally hold an active producer license, the appropriate carrier appointments, and (for Medicare Advantage and Part D plans) annual AHIP or equivalent certification and carrier-specific certifications. License information is available upon request by contacting us at 855-479-4100.
You consent to be contacted at the telephone number(s), email address(es), and mailing address you provided, through the following methods:
- Telephone calls, including calls placed using an automatic telephone dialing system (ATDS), an artificial or prerecorded voice, soundboard technology, and ringless voicemail delivery
- Text messages (SMS and MMS), with message frequency varying based on your engagement; message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier
- Direct mail and postal communications
- Targeted and matched advertising on social media and digital platforms, including the use of your contact information to identify and serve advertisements to your accounts on Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), Google, YouTube, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, and similar services
- Push notifications and in-app messages, where applicable
You confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of any telephone number you provided, and you authorize contact at those numbers, including wireless and cellular numbers, even if those numbers appear on any federal Do Not Call Registry, state Do Not Call list, or Veterans Benefits internal do-not-call list. This consent overrides any such prior listing for the duration of this consent.
You are not required to provide this consent in order to purchase any goods or services from Veterans Benefits, and you are not required to provide this consent in order to enroll in any Medicare plan, health insurance plan, life insurance policy, or any other insurance product. You may obtain information about Medicare and available plans through other means, including by contacting us directly at 855-479-4100, by calling 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227, TTY 1-877-486-2048), by visiting Medicare.gov or Healthcare.gov, by contacting your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), or by contacting your State Department of Insurance, without consenting to be contacted by the methods above.
You understand that this Consent to Contact does not constitute a Scope of Appointment (SOA) and does not authorize a licensed agent to discuss specific Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D plans with you. Under CMS rules (42 C.F.R. § 422.2264 and § 423.2264), before any personal marketing appointment in which specific Medicare Advantage or Part D plans will be discussed, you must complete a separate written or recorded Scope of Appointment that:
- Identifies the specific product types to be discussed
- Is documented at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the appointment, except in limited circumstances permitted by CMS (such as walk-ins, beneficiary-initiated same-day appointments during the final four days of a valid election period, and other CMS-recognized exceptions)
- Is retained by Veterans Benefits for at least ten (10) years
You may decline to complete a Scope of Appointment, decline to discuss any product, or end any appointment at any time. The Scope of Appointment requirement applies only to Medicare Advantage and Part D products and does not apply to discussions of Medicare Supplement, life insurance, final expense, cancer coverage, dental/vision/hearing, or other ancillary products.
If you opt in to text messaging:
- Program description: Veterans Benefits will send marketing, informational, and enrollment-related text messages regarding Medicare, health insurance, life insurance, and other insurance products
- Message frequency: Varies; you may receive recurring messages
- Message and data rates may apply based on your wireless plan
- HELP: Reply HELP to any text for assistance, or contact us at 855-479-4100
- STOP: Reply STOP to any text to opt out of SMS communications
- Carriers (including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
Email communications will comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link.
You acknowledge and agree that telephone communications between you and Veterans Benefits may be monitored and recorded for quality assurance, training, regulatory compliance, and legal purposes, in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. As required by CMS at 42 C.F.R. § 422.2274(g) and § 423.2274(g), all marketing, sales, and enrollment calls between Veterans Benefits and Medicare beneficiaries regarding Medicare Advantage or Part D products are recorded in their entirety and retained for a minimum of ten (10) years. This includes calls conducted by phone and via web-based technologies that function as a telephone call (such as VoIP). Calls regarding non-Medicare products may also be recorded for quality and compliance purposes.
You understand that any health-related information you voluntarily provide to Veterans Benefits (including but not limited to medications, medical conditions, providers, tobacco use, height/weight, or health history) will be used solely to assist you in identifying, comparing, and enrolling in suitable insurance plans, including underwriting for life, final expense, cancer, and other medically underwritten products, and will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) where applicable, and our Privacy Policy.
You understand that Veterans Benefits representatives are licensed insurance agents who may receive compensation (including commissions, overrides, bonuses, and administrative payments) from insurance carriers for plans and policies in which you enroll. The amount of compensation does not affect your premium and is paid by the carrier, not by you. Compensation amounts vary by carrier, product, and plan, and disclosure of specific commission amounts is available upon request where required by law.
You may revoke this consent at any time, through any reasonable method, including:
- Replying STOP to any marketing text message
- Clicking “unsubscribe” in any marketing email
- Stating your request to opt out verbally during any phone call
- Contacting us at 855-479-4100
Opting out of one communication channel does not automatically opt you out of others. To revoke consent across all channels, please specify in your request. We will honor opt-out requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally within ten business days for telemarketing).
Note: Revoking marketing consent does not terminate transactional or service-related communications regarding any insurance policy in which you are enrolled, which are necessary to administer your coverage (such as renewal notices, premium notices, plan change notifications, and claims communications).
You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that the contact information you provided belongs to you (or that you are legally authorized to provide it on behalf of another person, such as a spouse, dependent, parent, or person for whom you serve as an authorized representative or power of attorney), and that all information you provided is accurate and truthful.
Your personal information, including any health-related information, will be collected, used, stored, and disclosed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (https://veteransbenefits.health/privacy-policy/), which describes your rights under applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and other state privacy laws where applicable.
Veterans Benefits will not sell, share, or transfer your contact information to other insurance agencies, marketing organizations, or third parties for their own marketing purposes without obtaining your separate, specific prior express written consent. Veterans Benefits may share your information with service providers acting on our behalf (such as call center, CRM, communications platform, and underwriting vendors) and with insurance carriers for the purpose of quoting, underwriting, and issuing insurance policies, who are contractually or legally obligated to protect your information and use it only as authorized.
This consent is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You acknowledge that consumer protection laws of your state of residence may also apply.
By clicking “[Submit / Get Started / Request Information],” you (a) electronically sign this consent under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN), 15 U.S.C. § 7001, and applicable state electronic signature laws; (b) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms; and (c) confirm that this electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
